Thanks for the tip, I found such ideas
on the wiki.octave.org and searching the mailing
lists.

I guess I could as well load the functions
into the octave's symbol table, directly.
I saw the code for install_builtin_function()
[defun.cc /src].

Octave uses a mkbuiltins script to generate the 
builtins.cc file [/src dir]. This has a function
that loads  code into the octave symbol table.

Can I do the same thing too? I will experiment
and mail the results.
