From octave-sources-request at octave dot org Sun Apr 18 09:15:18 2004 Subject: Win32 imread and imwrite fixes From: "Rahman Mohamud Faisal MOORABY" To: octave-sources at octave dot org Date: Sun, 18 Apr 2004 14:14:23 +0000 Paul Kienzel I have managed to make the imread and imwrite M files. I keep it such that it should still work with unix systems. The pre-requisite is to set the isunix to false for win32 systems. It was not working because octave uses the cygwin unix file tree system to access files and ImageMagick convert utility uses the native win32 file tree systems. Also, i found that the following command adds a new line character at the end of the string fname= file_in_path(IMAGEPATH,filename); Maybe this is for win32 systems alone. Attached are the imread.m and imwrite.m files Hope this helps. Faisal Mooraby _________________________________________________________________ Tired of 56k?
