Good day, all,

I have tried out Paul Kienzle's  port of the Remez algorithm in
Octave-Forge and
found it much more stable numerically than my port in my previous
posting (19 Oct 2001).
(The previous posting was sincerely made without prior knowledge of
octave-forge
and the porting activities. :P )

Stick to Paul's version !
