Hi,

We now have a release tarball for the Octave extensions project at
source forge.  It is available at:
    http://prdownloads.sf.net/octave/octave-forge-2001.10.12.tar.gz
Please download it and test it, and send a message to
    octave-dev at lists dot sf dot net
if you have any problems.

Note that if you are going to install in your home directory, you will
need to give some parameters to the ./configure script.  Please read
the INSTALL file.  You may also be able to point your LOADPATH to
the root of the octave-forge tree, but I haven't tried that.

Note that my old package (signalPAK -> octavePAK -> matcompat)
is defunct, and everything is now in octave-forge.
