From octave-sources-request at bevo dot che dot wisc dot edu Wed Sep 6 13:25:34 2000 Subject: FEMoctave, an elementary finite element package, version 0.1 From: Andreas Stahel To: help-octave at bevo dot che dot wisc dot edu, octave-sources@bevo.che.wisc.edu Cc: Andreas dot Stahel at hta-bi dot bfh dot ch Date: Wed, 6 Sep 2000 12:23:41 -0600 Dear octave users finally I managed to write the code for a very simple FEM package for Octave. It solves second order differential equations in two variables, using first order elements. Find the code at my home page http://www.hta-bi.bfh.ch/~sha in the `software' section or directly in the directory http://www.hta-bi.bfh.ch/~sha/pwf/fem/FEMoctave/ The file FEMoctave.tgz contains all necessary files. The package was tested with the development version of Octave, a short test with version 2.0.13 failed, may be somebody finds a fix ;-) Feedback is welcome Enjoy this day Andreas ====================================================================== Andreas Stahel: Andreas dot Stahel at hta-bi dot bfh dot ch while in Utah: stahel at math dot utah dot edu ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Octave is freely available under the terms of the GNU GPL.
