The octave-sources mailing list is available for the posting, by their
authors, of Octave C/C++ or Fortran sources and patches that improve
Octave.  Its contents will be reviewed by the Octave maintainers for
inclusion in future releases of Octave.

  So my previous mail was sent to the wrong mailing list. I will check
"help-octave". 

  Sorry again, I misunderstood the description of the mailing lists at
http://www.che.wisc.edu/octave/archive.html and did not have a close 
enough look at the archives ...
