In the past, I've seen problems something like those reported if the
"template database" generated by the Sun compiler was not completely
removed.  It's been a while, so I'm not sure which of these applies; but
for clean builds, I would remove these from each source directory:

	Templates.DB 
	ptrepository 
	SunWS_cache
