Hi,

Making today cvs gives the following errors:

making var.texi from var.txi
making vr-idx.texi from vr-idx.txi
makeinfo -I. -I./.. octave.texi
./basics.texi:198: Unknown command `anchor'.
./basics.texi:198: Misplaced {.
./basics.texi:198: Misplaced }.

...

./data.texi:192: Misplaced }.
./numbers.texi:228: Unknown command `anchor'.
Too many errors!  Gave up.
This is TeX, Version 3.14159 (Web2C 7.3.1)

I'm using makeinfo (GNU texinfo 3.12) 1.68 and tex 3.14159 (do you know
that Knuth dont want tex versions greater than the number pi? )

Any hints?
