Hi all,
Octplot 0.2.5 is available from the usual place, 
http://sourceforge.net/projects/octplot

Have a look at the screenshot, download and file bugs.

This release is 90% capable of doing the real work. New features:
* install target. I am using automake so all usual configure options should
work as expected.
* rotatable Text (a must for the y-axis label) courtesy of the FLTK library
* output to eps,ps,pdf,png,jpeg -- the last 3 if you have ghostscript
* text in bitmaps formats (png,jpg and on-screen) is antialiased
* tested on cygwin, linux (FC1 & FC3) and should also work on OSX
