One more:

5) make install does not work:

$ make install
cd src && make install
make[1]: Entering directory `octplot/src'
make[1]: *** No rule to make target ìnstall'.  Stop.
make[1]: Leaving directory `octplot/src'
make: *** [src] Error 2
