As I wrote in my last post to octave-graphics, the first step now is the API definition which, IMHO, should be coordinated by jwe. You are the person with the most enlarged vision of the Octave project, hence my suggestion.] > Meanwhile, I have the inane suggestion to term Octave's graphics API (the > script-level one) "Handel Graphics", further confusing the origin of the > term "Octave", paying respects to a great composer at the same time, and > further (falsely) insinuating that "Octave" has anything to do with music > whatsoever. Very nice: "Handel (Graphics) makes Octave wonderfully sound". > So, is anyone non-GNUPLOT related still out there? Joao Cardoso , the author of PLplot_Octave should be subscribed to this mailing list. To my knowledge, Joao's efforts are the only working proposed solution to replace Gnuplot for Octave. The PLplot project has recently gained a lot of activity, see http://plplot.sourceforge.net. -- Rafael Laboissiere
