Hi,
I need to use octave for university purpose.
Unfortunatly I haven't got any Idea how to use Unix. Also I'm a mac  
user only for 2 month. I would be please if any one could send me a  
complete guidance how to install and run octave on Max OS X 1.4.2  
(using X11 ?).

I tried to do it myself with some help I found on the internet, but I  
didn't get far.
