Subject: help listing is not displayed correctly

I just installed using the standard suse9.0 rpm.  When I type help, I 
get printout with all the formating text in it, i.e.  at deftypefn 
{Loadable Function} {} rand { at var{x}} ...

Any know how to fix this?
