OK, Miquel, I will close my eyes and jump into this.  Being a Mac user, 
I'm not very experienced at installing Unix s/w, but I will first try 
to install Clawpack on my system (Mac OS X 10.2.3).  If I'm successful 
at that, then I'll see if Clawpack and Octave will play together.  I 
will certainly post on my progress or non-progress plus pleas for help.
