From help-octave-request at bevo dot che dot wisc dot edu Tue Dec 17 13:16:17 2002 Subject: index inconsistency? From: "Albert F. Niessner" To: Octave Help Date: 17 Dec 2002 14:16:11 -0500 Why does octave index matrices (vectors) from 1..m, 1..n and then the indexing in Matrix -- the C/C++ code for dynamic loaded functions -- done from 0..m-1, 0..n-1? It really is not that big of deal. I was just wondering if anyone knows or remembers the rationale for doing it this way.
