From help-octave-request at bevo dot che dot wisc dot edu Mon Nov 12 07:43:20 2001 Subject: Windows Problems? From: George Gibbon To: help-octave at bevo dot che dot wisc dot edu Date: Mon, 12 Nov 2001 16:24:50 +0200 We have installed OCTAVE (octave-windows-2000oct25d.exe) on a number of machines with the WINDOWS 2000 operating system and it has worked perfectly on all but two machines (both notebooks). During installation when the DOS Box appears nothing happens and then it closes and the installation continues (reported successfully). When you run OCTAVE the DOS box appears briefly and nothing else happens. If you run from the DOS box the error "Cannot find the path specified" is returned. Any Ideas?
