Hello,

I am writing an iterative application that graphically plots (with Gnuplot) 
the current state of an evolutive system at each iteration.

I would like to know how it is possible to turn off the LEGEND option when 
using plot or plot3 from matcompat. This seems to slow the whole process down.

As I am new to Octave, maybe there are things I should also know in this 
situation, regarding Octave-Gnuplot exchanges : what about temp files 
generated at each plot and so on?
