Subject: Can't find octave fns

I upgraded from octave-2.0.13 to octave-2.0.14. I got rid of the 
2.0.13 stuff, and started implementing the rfft from a TR I had
lying around. Now the system can't find length(x) and size(x)
(and other fns?) required for me to write the program? What happened?!
