Hi, I just installed octave from the precompiled binaries on an sgi (irix
6.2).  It won't run because libstdc++.so.2.8.0 (or any other version) is
not installed on the system.  I downloaded the library source from the gnu
ftp site, but after many frustrating hours I could not get it to compile.
Does anyone have a compiled version of this library that you could send to
me?
