I'm trying to link to code from the Vista library of image processing
routines () in a .oct function produced from C++ code. The actual
purpose is to read images stored in Vista format into an Octave
structure. However, it appears as if whenever any Vista routine tries to
allocate memory, Octave core dumps.

Is there anyone who has any experience in linking to 3rd party library
routines (Vista or others) from dynamically linked Octave functions?
