Excuse me if this is just list cluttering (because I am looking int
2.0.9):

The (internal) function rand (info says: LOADABLE function) has two
options called
"normal" and "uniform" which I did not find in the docs.

In which respect duplicates the existence of randn these switches?

Are there more options for rand(n)?
