Try the new gnuplot 3.6 beta version, available from cmpc1.phys.soton.ac.uk:pub/gnuplot. It has multiplot built in, along with a lot of other useful features such as vector field plotting, enhanced postscript capabilities (sub/superscripts and greek letters), etc. Some of the new plotting styles can't be used with octave gplot command unless you modify the octave source to include the names of the new point styles. -- Gary Holt (818)-395-2882 holt at klab dot caltech dot edu http://www dot klab dot caltech dot edu/~holt/
