From help-octave-request at che dot utexas dot edu Thu Jul 13 16:20:42 1995 Subject: octave through a remote connection From: pot at fly dot CNUCE dot CNR dot IT (Francesco Potorti`) To: help-octave at che dot utexas dot edu Date: Thu, 13 Jul 1995 18:20 +0100 (MET) I use octave through a remsh connection like this: remsh sable octave so I can run it on a remote machine and have the output in an emacs buffer. Unfortunately, octave refuses to show its prompt. Someone knows how to make it display the prompt? Emacs is not the culprit, as the same things happen if I type "remsh sable octave" from the shell prompt. -- Francesco Potorti` | pot at cnuce dot cnr dot it (Internet) researcher at | 39369::pot (DECnet) CNUCE-CNR, Pisa, Italy | +39-50-593203 (voice) 904052 (fax)
