Hi there:

	I just downloaded octave-1.0 and found that it is mainly targeted for
unix machines.  Are there any variants for use on PC and Macintosh at all?
I intend to use it with Symantec C++.  Any hope?  If not, is it reasonable
to use the matrix libraries with certain things twiddled?
