Subject: bug in polyfit?

Hi,
I have a problem with the polyfit function.

When I run it for the first time, it seems to hang up in some endless
loop, still computing. It must be killed with Ctrl-C. When I run it for
the second time, it works fine. The same hapens with wpolyfit and
polyfitw, found somewhere in the help-list.

I use fedora core 3 and octave 2.1.64. The same problem was with 2.1.57
from fc3 distribution.

Do you have any suggestions?
