Subject: 2.9.4 doesn't install many components

I've been working with 2.9.4 and I find that a normal
install fails to install many of the components.

I did
     ./configure --prefix=/usr/local/octave-2.9.4
     make
     make install

The following components needed to be manually copied

- liboctinterp.so, liboctinterp.so.2.9.4
- Lots of header files such as defun-dld.h and many others
    (finally I installed all headers in octave/src)
- All the DLD_FUNCTIONS oct files
- The links min.oct -> minmax.oct
            max.oct -> minmax.oct

I'm using Xandros Linux on a P4.
