From bug-request at octave dot org Tue Dec 27 15:27:31 2005 Subject: 2.9.4 doesn't install many components From: Andy Adler To: bug at octave dot org Date: Tue, 27 Dec 2005 16:25:36 -0500 (EST) I've been working with 2.9.4 and I find that a normal install fails to install many of the components. I did ./configure --prefix=/usr/local/octave-2.9.4 make make install The following components needed to be manually copied - liboctinterp.so, liboctinterp.so.2.9.4 - Lots of header files such as defun-dld.h and many others (finally I installed all headers in octave/src) - All the DLD_FUNCTIONS oct files - The links min.oct -> minmax.oct max.oct -> minmax.oct I'm using Xandros Linux on a P4. -- Andy Adler 1(613)562-5800x6218 ------------------------------------------------------------- Octave is freely available under the terms of the GNU GPL.
