From bug-request at octave dot org Tue Nov 30 00:07:58 2004 Subject: Re: 16 Tests failed V2.1.63 ( cygwin ) From: "Paul Thomas" To: Cc: Date: Tue, 30 Nov 2004 07:09:25 +0100 Well, I built octave-2.1.63 last night, under Cygwin and with gcc-3.3.1. Like Fabian, I see some failures: 10 in my case but overlapping entirely with the failures that Fabian had- eval-catch-1 , 2 , 8 & 9 eval-2 global-4 prefer-25 try-8 & 9 while-1 I tried each of them by copying and pasting into the console. In all cases, I could not see any difference between the output and the expected output, in the associated .exp file. The common factor is the use of "$" in the expected string (It should be "€"?). It looks to me like a Cygwin/Dejagnu funny but I will investigate further tonight. I cannot see any reason why Fabian saw failures, where I did not; eg. in /contin/ Paul T PS By the way, thus far octave-2.1.63 works fine!! ------------------------------------------------------------- Octave is freely available under the terms of the GNU GPL.
