Octaves 2.1.50-57, compiled using gcc-3.2.3 and gcc-3.3.2, running under any version of Cygwin current since the middle of last year, have all performed flawlessly, modulo the slowness of gcc-3.3.3. I have never seen any signs of a segfault on exit. The only segfaults I have seen have been entirely my doing!
