Suggestions, yes. Contributions too, if they are "properly formated". Doc patches should be in .texi format, if you know how to do that; I don't know how to edit .texi, so I won't contribute to the docs. For code, some patches are accepted, others not. That's a little frustrating, but not too much. Each time I upgrade octave, I patch the source to get the behavior I'm accustomed to; so I don't upgrade too often : I'm still with 2.1.19. Even then, I'm happier with "octave" than if I had to use "matlab". > - Which is the right address for questions concerning details of Octave "help-octave", probably.
