This version is uncomplete on ftp.che.wisc.edu  and on ftp.ibp.fr sites 
i didn't tried the other ones 

this what i get when i try to unzip ant untar it 

x octave-2.0/libcruft/lapack/zgelss.f, 21645 bytes, 43 tape blocks
tar: directory checksum error (7047 != 30737)
