Subject: Bug in Installation of Octave 2

Dear sirs,

I have just downloaded the file "OCTA200s.ZIP" and installed it by
entering "Setup /install". Setup then made some changes to my Config.Sys
and told me that a reboot was required.  After shutting down the system
and rebooting OS/2 haltet with a fatal error: Doscall1.dll could not be
found and there was no way to start the system. I found out that your
installation routine messed up the libpath line of my Confg.sys, in the
middle of that Line it just inserted the path to Octave, destroying the
statement ..;C:\OS2\DLL;.." which made it impossible to reboot the system
properly. The Line "Libpath=".. of my Config.sys is pretty long, maybe
your installation-routine couldn't handle it properly.. I include the
original line here:

Your setup changed it to something like that:
LIBPATH=.;C:\OS2-PROGRAMME\4OS2;C:\OS2-PROGRAMME\STAROFFICE3;C:\VT\SPCH_BIN;C:\opendoc\BIN;C:\OS2c:\temp\octave-2.0\dll;C:\IBMI18N\DLL;C:\MAILER\CAPI310;C:\MPTN\DLL;C:\OS2\APPS\DLL;C:\IBMCOM\DLL;C:\OS2\MDOS;C:;\javaos2\dll;C:\MMOS2\DLL;C:\IBMINST;c:\tcpip\dll;c:\tcpip\pcomos2;C:\OS2-PROGRAMME\NETSCAPE\PLUGINS;C:\OS2-PROGRAMME\OBJECT-DESKTOP;C:\BonusPak\ibmworks;C:\TCPIP\UMAIL;C:\os2-programme\NETSCAPE;

(Setup simply inserted "c:\temp\octave2.0" somewhere in the Libpath..)
