Of course I can calculate it by myself and replace this formula by the scalar. Nevertheless, I think Octave should be able to understand this kind of definition (or for instance 2*pi...) Maybe I didn't use the right definition, maybe there is a valid reason to avoid this kind of definition. However, I think that I am not the first and only one to have been in front of this problem.
