From bug-octave-request at bevo dot che dot wisc dot edu Wed Sep 27 02:22:02 1995 Subject: roots function From: "John Lane Moss" To: bug-octave at che dot utexas dot edu Date: Wed, 27 Sep 1995 03:21:49 -0400 I think I've found a bug with the "roots" function of octave version 1.1.1 Here's a simple example: ----- octave:66> roots([1 -4 4]) parse error near line 53 of file roots.m: >>> r = [r; zeros (n - f(m), 1)]; ^ error: `roots' undefined near line 66 column 1 error: evaluating index expression near line 66, column 1 ----- I could in some way be misusing the function. But, if this bug has been fixed, could you tell me where to get the new "roots.m" or either mail me a copy?
