One thing you can do, is to add the DCDFLIB library to your octave code. This free library contains subroutines which are able to compute cdf and inverse probabilities of most probability functions. You can find it on (for example) odin.mda.uth.tmc.edu/pub/unix/dcdflib.f-1.0-tar.Z tell me what you think about this idea ? castagliola philippe Ecole des Mines de Nantes (France) pcasta at auto dot emn dot fr
