Subject: AIX 3.2.5  g++ 2.5.7  octave 1.0  trying to get it to link

I'm trying to get octave compiled.  It runs fine until the link step.
The linker complains that it cant find _vt.3ios.  gdb demangler calls
it '3ios virtual table'.  I've tried to fix it.  Any suggestions?
